Društvo arhitektov Ljubljana invites you to the exhibition “Arhitektura Inventura 2022–2024,” running from 21 February to 16 March. As the most comprehensive showcase of architectural work in Slovenia, “Arhitektura Inventura” features over 100 architects presenting 117 architectural and 8 student projects. The exhibition encompasses urban planning, building design, public and residential renovations, interior design, as well as graphic and industrial design, and architectural writing.
Among the showcased projects is my design for Skatepark Stožice, Slovenia’s first official public indoor skatepark. Located beneath the sports stadium in Ljubljana, this innovative space repurposes part of the underground parking into a dynamic hub for skateboarding and other urban wheel sports. The project, initiated in 2021 and completed in 2024, was a collaborative effort with Sadar+Vuga Architects and the City of Ljubljana. The skatepark spans 1,055 m² and features adaptable flow and street sections with movable obstacles, offering endless opportunities for customization and user-driven upgrades. Constructed predominantly from wood, with details of steel, granite, and concrete, Skatepark Stožice prioritizes adaptability and community engagement.
